Salt River/Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, Mesa

Approx. 45 miles from Metro Phoenix each way

Pros:
River with red rock background about an hour east of Phoenix. Hiking trails nearby, and Lost Dutchman are close by for alternate setups.
No travel or overnight stays required for local talent and crew. Guest Ranch there provides conference room for talent staging, food, and overnight accommodations if needed.

Con:
Permit may be expensive and hard to get, unless shooting at the Guest Ranch which is privately owned.

ASSOCIATED COSTS

• Roughly $1400 per day includes permit and rental of large conference room for staging talent and eating. No motorhome needed.

• Breakfast and lunches can also be provided by the guest ranch for approx $35pp/day; food is limited otherwise

• PLUS would need to cover RT mileage for crew and talent, no per diems needed
